Boston GuitarFest XX
Individual lessons, workshops, seminars, and guest artist masterclasses (by short video audition) are offered to guitar students. Individual lessons will be taught by resident BGfest faculty including Adam Levin, Lautaro Mantilla, Jérôme Mouffe, Gohar Vardanyan, and Robert Bekkers.
.Masterclasses
BGFest XX offers masterclasses (live streamed to YouTube) with artists Eliot Fisk, Grisha Goryachev, and Xuefei Yang. Each student will receive approximately a 40-minute time slot. All master classes will be recorded and saved for asynchronous viewing. These masterclasses will take place from June 12th to June 14th from 3:00–6:00 PM EST.
Participants who wish to perform in BGFest masterclasses must submit a 5–10 minute audition via unlisted YouTube link as part of the registration process. There are only 12 performance slots available for masterclasses. Please indicate the piece you wish to perform and send a PDF of the score upon notification of acceptance.
Private Lessons
BGFest XX Academy participants receive a total of two individual lessons (or one individual lesson and one masterclass). Lessons are approximately 55 minutes. BGFest XX Academy faculty include: Adam Levin, Lautaro Mantilla, Jérôme Mouffe, Gohar Vardanyan, and Robert Bekkers.
Housing
Unfortunately, Boston GuitarFest XX cannot provide housing for participants. However, please feel free to contact us with any concerns or questions.
Both The Foundry and Multicultural Arts Center are close to public transport. Lechmere (green line) or Kendall/MIT (red line) are within walking distance.
